Lotts Wood - 15 November

Our next Go-Ride coaching session is here at Lotts Wood near Amersham on Saturday 15 November from 10am - 12 noon.

Please meet at 9.45am to register and be ready for the safety check at 10am.  If you arrive after the safety check commences you may not be able to take part.

Riders need a mountain bike or a hybrid fitted with gears, front and rear brakes and treaded tyres.  You must ensure the bike is in good working order.  If a coach believes a bike is not safe your child will not be permitted to join the session.

If you would like to join us or have any questions, please email bThursday 13 November.  It is very important that we know how many riders are coming to ensure we have enough coaches on hand.  Riders who are not registered will not be able to join us if there are insufficient coaches.

Please bring a drink and snack, properly fitted helmet and gloves, a spare inner tube for the bike and check riders have no loose clothing or shoe laces that could be caught on the bike.  With the colder weather, insulated full fingered gloves and a wet weather jacket are a must.

The cost of the session is £3 for Summit members and £5 for non-members.  This helps cover the cost of leasing the land from the Forestry Commission and maintenance work.

There is a car park in Weedon Hill Woods (opposite Lotts Wood) which will be open. Do not leave your car parked here after the session, as we lock the gate at 12.30pm and, if you are dropping off riders please do not obstruct the gate.
